Chris van Es

Chris van Es is an award-winning illustrator who was born in the Netherlands in the late 1950s and moved to Canada when he was sixteen years old. After spending two years mistakenly studying medicine, he traveled widely for several years during which he discovered that he liked to draw. He graduated from Sheridan College's illustration program in the late 1980s and currently lives in Port Hope, Ontario. His work has been published in numerous magazines and newspapers.
