Dobrosav “Bob” Zivkovic is a Serbian illustrator living in Belgrade. He graduated in 1987 from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. His works were quickly recognized during his studies and were published in student magazines such as “Student” (1982) and “Vidici” (1982). In the early eighties he became known as a science fiction and fantasy illustrator. His illustrations appeared on the covers of the novels of the "Znak Sagite" imprint, the science fiction and fantasy almanac "Monolit" and the magazine "Alef", later in Politikin Zabavnik. His career turned towards art for children, in the magazines "Tik-Tak" and "Zeka" (1987-1998). He created a popular children's comic strip, Jajzi, which appeared in "Tik-Tak." His real breakthrough came when he became a regular illustrator for "Politikin zabavnik". In the late 1990s, Zivkovic was art director and lead illustrator for the “Saatchi & Saatchi” offices in Serbia and Slovenia. Currently, he continues to work in the advertising business and as a freelance illustrator.
