By LatAm ARTE

Álvaro Naddeo is a Brazilian artist born in São Paulo who has lived in several cities including Lima, New York City, and currently Los Angeles. His work blends memories of those urban environments with sharp reflections on overconsumption, waste, and social inequality. Having worked over two decades in advertising as an art director, he eventually returned to fine art—particularly watercolor and mixed media—to explore personal and social themes. Naddeo often uses discarded objects, brand packaging, and street debris in his paintings as symbols of both cultural desire and critique. His style fuses local and universal visual cues—signs, logos, packaging—with careful composition and color. His solo and group exhibitions have been shown internationally.
