MAL CREW is a group of artists visuals (Sátiro, Ghore, Fonso, Cuervo 21, Terms, Río, Raíz, Somos) from Bogotá, Colombia who decided one day in 2009 to join to capture large format images on the city walls, combining different techniques, lettering, graffiti writing, illustration and lifestyles. Always maintaining a balance between the opposites or versus of everyday things, contrasts between the human and the animal, metaphors between the explicit and the evocative. Thinking about the city from its own context, pointing out and criticizing in a subtle way political and social problems, both current and past, through images and details painted on a large scale, taking the eye of the unsuspecting viewer as an important participant within their own environment and city.
