Ernesto Priego is an independent illustrator and caricaturist based in Barcelona, Spain. His style ranges from realism to comic strip, always pushing the boundaries and raising the bar in cartoon art. “I started as a young artist with caricatures, then I had to quit because I found good jobs in Advertising and Illustration. I returned to caricature and cartoon art about 4 years ago. With the boom of '92 and the Barcelona Olympics I started working for luxury design studios because they needed experienced illustrators and draftsmen. I worked mainly for two studios “Senyal Reset” and for several companies and brands. I kept this job for 6 years and then launched myself into the freelance world. For two years I also worked as a cartoonist in a fanzine called “Barzelona”.
