Marcos Medeiros is an award-winning Brazilian creative leader, partner, and Chief Creative Officer at Crispin Porter + Bogusky Brazil. With nearly three decades of career experience, he has accumulated numerous international awards, including multiple Cannes Lions, Clios, Grand Prix at festivals such as El Ojo and London, as well as Yellow Pencils at D&AD; and Pencils at The One Show. He began his professional path at agencies like DM9DDB and later spent eight years at AlmapBBDO, where he earned his first Grand Prix at the Cannes Festival. Beyond advertising, Marcos is also a visual artist, illustrator, and photographer. He has held solo exhibitions, including at Carbono Galeria, where he launched the books A Reunião (illustrations) and Viagem sem Volta (photography). His illustrations, created with charcoal and the cross-hatching technique, portray icons of national and international culture with remarkable precision and delicacy. He has gained wide recognition on social media, especially through his Instagram profile @marcaomedeiros, which showcases his artistic work. As a photographer, he has captured unique perspectives on events such as the Kumbh Mela in India, material that forms part of his publications. He combines his artistic talent with strategic thinking and business vision, strengthened by his executive studies at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership. His career is marked by the ability to balance creativity, leadership, and innovation. Colleagues and critics highlight his versatility, moving with ease between advertising campaigns, illustration, and photography. Medeiros often emphasizes the importance of discipline and teamwork in creative processes. This mindset has roots in his earlier life as a professional swimmer, when he was part of Brazil’s national team. The discipline of sports translated into a commitment to excellence in his creative career. Today, Marcos Medeiros continues to expand his influence as both a creative executive and a contemporary Brazilian artist.
