Etten Carvallo is a prominent Venezuelan illustrator and graphic designer, known for her diverse works and socio-political perspective. She has over two decades of professional experience in various fields such as children's literature, press illustration, and political art. One of her well-known works is the illustration of the children's story "La fiesta de los ratones" (The Mice's Party), published by Monte Ávila, which clearly demonstrates her ability to adapt her artistic style to different audiences. In 2016, Carvallo won the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award in the Graphic Illustration category. She received the award for her work titled "Hugo Chávez lo hizo por amor" (Hugo Chávez Did It for Love), published in Ciudad CCS . In 2025, she was one of the participating artists in the international exhibition "Traces of Resistance" at the National Art Museum of Caracas; an event featuring artists from Iran and Latin America, dedicated to supporting the Palestinian cause.
