Jorge Corpuna is a Peruvian painter born in 1993 in Cusco, specializing in watercolor and oil. He studied Fine Arts with a focus on painting at the Carlos Baca Flor National School of Art in Arequipa. Jorge has held several solo exhibitions, including shows in Arequipa and Lima. His work has also been shown in international collective exhibitions across Latin America and beyond. He often paints landscapes inspired by the Andes, rivers, fields, skies, and places of natural beauty, capturing atmosphere, light, space, and mood. Corpuna’s style blends realism with poetic sensitivity—his brushwork creates subtle color transitions, misty horizons, luminous skies, and a strong sense of tranquility. He has won multiple awards in national and international painting contests, especially in watercolor and plein air painting. Jorge paints both outdoors and in studio, drawing inspiration from nature and everyday vistas. He sees painting as a way to connect with the environment, memory, and the natural world, inviting viewers to pause and reflect.
