Diego Eguinlian is an Argentinian visual artist born in 1977, celebrated for his evocative watercolor work. A self-taught painter, his practice is rooted in deep observation, experimentation, and expressive storytelling through pigment and water. Early influences included drawing and music, but his true artistic calling led him to pursue watercolor under the mentorship of Maestro Goyo Barja. Eguinlian has received multiple awards and distinctions for his artwork, which often explore themes of memory, atmosphere, and urban life. He travels internationally to lead workshops and engage with watercolor communities, sharing his techniques and passion. Recently, he completed a successful exhibition tour in countries like China and Australia, where he connected deeply with audiences and fellow artists. He describes painting as his daily school and personal necessity. His creative process is driven by improvisation and curiosity, continuously discovering new possibilities in each brushstroke. His latest book, Huellas del Agua (“Traces of Water”), captures his poetic vision and dedication to the medium.
