Meio Killo - Brazil

By LatAm ARTE

Meio Killo is a Brazilian visual artist and designer born in 1995, raised in Embu das Artes, São Paulo. He studied Graphic Design and began his artistic journey on the streets, using graffiti as his primary means of expression. Since 2014 he has been colouring public spaces with his distinctive characters and vivid imagery. His work is marked by an iconic face motif, often featuring reflective eyes and a green rectangular nose — his signature symbol. Beyond graffiti, he expands his art onto canvases, digital screens, old banknotes and found objects, always exploring unexpected supports. His universe weaves humour and reflection, blending whimsical surreal scenes with everyday life fragments. He creates playful yet thoughtful compositions, where simple moments acquire poetic resonance. His visual vocabulary explores versatility, showing that characters, colour and form can carry both lightness and depth. Through his pieces he invites the viewer to smile and think, invoking a sense of reflection within accessible imagery. As his practice evolves, he remains rooted in street-culture energy while also navigating gallery contexts with equal fluency.
