Alex Senna is a Brazilian street artist and illustrator born in 1982 in Orlândia. He is known for creating black and white murals and illustrations that emphasize human relationships, emotions, and daily life in urban settings. His signature style features lanky, silhouette–like characters—often couples, friends, or family—in intimate moments, using simple symbols like hearts, birds, musical notes, and balloons. Senna is colorblind, which influences his choice to work almost entirely in monochrome, though he sometimes uses minimal touches for contrast. Self-taught, he draws inspiration from comics, graffiti, and illustration, and from artists such as Walt Disney, Will Eisner, and Mauricio de Sousa. His works appear on walls worldwide and in exhibitions and murals in cities in Brazil, Europe, Asia, and other parts of the Americas. His art invites reflection and nostalgia by portraying small moments of love, solitude, connection, and everyday beauty among the gray tones of urban life.
