Barnaba Salvador

Barnaba Salvador

By LatAm ARTE

From the age of 8, Barnaba was already a nomad between Tamanrasset and Djanet, in the Algerian Sahara. He learns about life in the desert, the names of the sites, the mountains, the plants, the traces on the sand... Then he leaves for Mali and, little by little, Africa enters his guts. His long history of travel leads him to visit the most unusual places on the continent, watching humanity move in the African markets with which he shares the colorful chaos. A long history of travel in which he alternates the work of graphic designer with that of tour leader, thus combining his two great passions in travel diaries. Watercolor is the technique that characterizes his work and which he rarely abandons to make way for ink or comic-book style drawings.
