Paco Baca

Paco Baca (Francisco José Baca Flores) is a Mexican cartoonist, graphic artist, and communicator. He earned a degree in Communication from the Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City. Over his career, he has worked as an independent television producer, directed documentaries, created animated shorts, and worked in advertising and design. He contributes as an illustrator and editorial cartoonist for publications in Mexico, the US, and Argentina. He also writes a political-analysis column called “Un punto de vista.” In 2023, he won the National Journalism Award in Mexico. He has published books, including works aimed at children, and participates in festivals, exhibitions, and public lectures. Paco Baca uses humor, satire, and irony to address social issues, politics, inclusion, and freedom of expression in his illustrations and cartoons.
