Adão Conde is a Portuguese illustrator, visual artist, and editorial cartoonist born in 1977. He studied Arts and Architecture in Lisbon and is based near Lisbon, Portugal. His artistic practice includes illustration, drawing, editorial cartoons, printmaking, etching, and serigraphy. His work is characterized by detailed hand-drawn linework and traditional techniques, often combining black-and-white imagery with elements such as gold leaf. Conde also creates commissioned, corporate, and editorial artwork and has contributed editorial cartoons to Portuguese newspapers, including Tal & Qual and Valor Local. His work has been exhibited and is held in private and institutional collections in Portugal and abroad.
