Born in 1929, Milton Glaser became a giant of American graphic design. Educated at Cooper Union and in Italy, he co-founded the influential Pushpin Studios in 1954. His work spanned magazines, packaging, and corporate branding, but he's best known for iconic creations. The "I Love NY" logo, a psychedelic Bob Dylan poster, and the DC Comics logo are just a few of his lasting images. He co-founded New York Magazine and championed ethical design practices throughout his long career. A prolific artist and educator, Glaser received the National Medal of Arts in 2009. He passed away in 2020, leaving a legacy of impactful and enduring visual communication.
