Fernando Gudenschwager Martini was born in the southern region of Chile in 1986. His childhood unfolded in Villarrica, a quaint town nestled in the Araucanía Region. The Villarrica National Park served as his backyard, where he explored every nook and cranny of nature—whether on foot, by bicycle, or in a kayak. At the tender age of 14, he began capturing black-and-white photographs on film, honing his skills and appreciating the significance of each fleeting moment. His journey led him to study graphic design, mastering the visual language and mental composition of images. Through self-guided exploration, he experimented with various techniques and lenses, leveraging the internet and consistent practice along the way. Nature, which he considers true medicine, became his muse, inspiring him to discover serene, unexpected landscapes that evoke peace and happiness
