When an image is generated from an algorithm trained on millions of existing photographs, where does the artist's mark remain? Who is the author: the user who types the prompt or the thousands of photographers whose works were used to train the model? Traditional photography draws its value from technical skill, the eye trained to capture a unique and unrepeatable moment in the real world. AI, on the other hand, simulates realities that never existed, blurring the line between document and fantasy.

In conclusion, AI does not destroy the art of photography, but it does challenge its definition. The future will likely not be a replacement, but rather a coexistence. "Pure" photography will retain its value as a testament to reality and an expression of a unique human gaze. Meanwhile, AI will establish itself as a new artistic medium, whose value will lie in the conceptualization and cultural critique embedded in the prompt.
