Nicaraguan Tradition and Art Shine at the Cultural Festival of Latin American and Caribbean Countries in Moscow
From July 19 to 27, our Government, through its Embassy in the Russian Federation, is participating in the 4th Edition of the Cultural Festival of Latin American and Caribbean Countries, organized by the Department of Economic and International Relations of the Moscow City Government as part of a large-scale cultural and educational exchange project in the Moscow capital.
Government of Nicaragua Sends Message of Solidarity to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Face of Sanction Attempts
As part of the Festival's activities, Nicaragua presented a presentation and an exhibition of folk huipiles as Intangible Artistic and Cultural Heritage of the Nation at the "Rudomino" Foreign Literature Library. Attendees toured the country's regions, learning about traditional and festive costumes that reflect the cultural richness of each town and its traditions in every garment. They were also able to enjoy the folkloric dances of Masaya to the sound of the marimba.

During this week, which pays tribute to Latin American culture, a photographic collection exhibition of Nicaragua is on display at the Hermitage Garden, featuring our tourist attractions, our imposing volcanoes, and also paintings featuring the primitivist art of our painters and artisans.
Students create and transform products at a gathering hosted by the "La Sandino" University of Entrepreneurs
Nicaragua will close its participation in the festival with the presentation of the documentary "Nicaraguan Artists, Creative Hands," directed and produced by Adrián Carrasco and Idania Castillo, Co-Directors of the National Film Library. The documentary tells the story of the birth, development, and creation of Nicaraguan visual arts, from the pre-Columbian era through the colonial period to the emergence of contemporary art in the 20th and 21st centuries.
