Memorial da América Latina hosts the VIII IFLAC World Brazil Peace Congress "Ada Aharoni"

The Congress will bring together, over four days, Peace activists, peacemakers, poets, writers, visual artists, actors, musicians and orchestras
Within the proposal to integrate Latin American peoples through political, cultural and educational actions, Memorial da América Latina announces that it will host the VIII IFLAC World Brazil Peace Congress “Ada Aharoni”, an International Congress of Literature for Peace. Enter On the 13th and 16th of September, seminars, exhibitions and artistic presentations will be held with the aim of discussing and celebrating peace in the world.

The event, held in partnership with the International Forum For a Literature And Culture Of Peace – IFLAC World, will feature the participation of representatives from countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, African countries, as well as Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Israel and India. Members of IFLAC World from all continents will also be present, especially Brazilian representatives from different states.

“The event will be an opportunity to show everyone the great role of the Memorial da América Latina in the dissemination and exchange of Brazilian and Latin American culture and its integration into the intellectual activities of the State of São Paulo, especially strengthening cultural, political, economic and social relations between Latin American people and the world, promoting international initiatives with a continental reach”, explains Pedro Mastrobuono, CEO of Memorial da América Latina.

The Congress will bring together, over four days, Peace activists, peacemakers, poets, writers, visual artists, actors, musicians and orchestras with the aim of analyzing and disseminating the science and Culture of Peace, developing public and social policies that can be applied to people across the planet.

It is the first time that the Congress takes place in Brazil. The event is scheduled to take place in the Simón Bolívar Auditorium and the Congressmen's Annex.
