The exhibition of Exhibition Paintings was inaugurated at the MUMART

The municipality presented three exhibitions in Pasaje Dardo Rocha

Last week the municipality presented three free exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Latin American Art (MACLA) and the Municipal Museum of Art (MUMART) of Pasaje Dardo Rocha (50 e/ 6 and 7).

The first exhibition is “Looked towards Heaven”, by Regina Igarzabal, Fernando Santana and Pilar Cuevas will be in Space E of the MACLA.
And the second will be able to visit rooms 2 and 3 of the MACLA, the exhibition “A garden, a chrysalis, a flight”, which consists of contemporary textile art by Silvia Della Maddalena where she captures an artistic process whose foundation is the garment of the Andean woman: the awayu or rebozo.

In a set of works, its various functions and conceptual dimensions such as relationships with the ceremonial sphere, in the support for the arrangement of offerings and seeds -wawas, to finally be part of the funerary trousseau.

And in the fabrics you can recognize the territory of the pictorial in textile art, the installation of the artistic practice of it and the current hybridization of the categories of art and the permanent reflection of a construction of identity.

And finally, in the MUMART space you will be able to see a collective exhibition of “Pictures from an Exhibition” produced by Color Madera that will be on until May 12. The exhibition includes works by the plastic artists Julieta Warman, Fernando Evangelista, Soledad Lagruta, Luxor, Alejandro Facusse, Lautaro Siro, Julián Taborda, Cecilia Cánepa, Proyecto Arbórea, Flor Alonso, Mailén Romero, Mica Vallejos, Gabriela Pellegrini, Paula Bolaño, Leonor Arnao and Natanael Ullón.

These exhibitions can be visited for free and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and on weekends from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the MUMART and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. at 8pm at MACLA.
