On November 6th and 7th, the Palace of Culture will host this free space that will bring together artists, artisans, cultural promoters, and the public interested in transforming creativity into projects with social impact.
Tlaxcala will host the “Arte Vivo Tlaxcala” Creation and Innovation Lab, a space that seeks to awaken creativity, collaborative thinking, and artistic innovation within the state's cultural community.
The event will take place on November 6th and 7th at the Palace of Culture, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a total of 16 hours of intensive training.
The State Ministry of Culture invites the artistic community and the general public to participate in this lab that celebrates live art, collaboration, and the creative force of the people of Tlaxcala. Those interested can register for free directly upon entering the workshop.
The workshop will be facilitated by experimental artist Fernando Llanos, a renowned Mexican creator who works with drawing, video, and sound art, and is distinguished by his innovative approach that unites technology with social reflection. His experience as a writer, curator, producer, and teacher makes him a leading figure in contemporary Latin American art.
During the sessions, the exchange of knowledge and collaboration among participants will be encouraged. They will have the opportunity to develop proposals that integrate local traditions with contemporary expressions, strengthening the role of art as a driver of social transformation.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico, through the General Directorate of Cultural Training and Management, in collaboration with the State Ministry of Culture, the workshop will offer tools and methodologies to strengthen the creative capacities of artisans, independent artists, cultural managers and promoters, teachers, and the general public interested in developing artistic and community projects with social impact.
With this initiative, the Ministry of Culture reaffirms its commitment to bringing art and innovation closer to everyone, promoting local talent as an engine for social transformation. (Press Release)
