Six Latin American artists reflect on the value of art in "Mystery of Economics"
The Museo Casa de Moneda del Banco de la República presents "Mystery of Economics," an exhibition that is part of BienalSur, the International Biennial of Contemporary Art of South America.
The exhibition brings together works by six Latin American artists who reflect on the symbolic and economic value of art, addressing shared realities in the region.
The exhibition includes pieces by Dagoberto Rodríguez (Cuba), Laura Ojeda and Marta Minujín (Argentina), Alicia Herrero, Esteban Álvarez, and Cildo Meireles (Brazil), and is part of the museum's new curatorial approach.
It will also be complemented by the exhibition "Crossing in the River" by Adriana Bustos, which will be on display at the Manizales Cultural Center beginning July 27.
"Mystery of the Economy" seeks to generate a dialogue between art, territory, and the market, within a global cultural network promoted by BienalSur, which takes place in more than 70 cities around the world.
