IFSul Camaquã students explore contemporary art at the 14th Mercosul Biennial
During the month of May, students in the first years of the Integrated Technical Courses at IFSul Campus Camaquã participated in an enriching experience at the 14th Mercosul Biennial, held in Porto Alegre. The main objective of the activity was to promote direct contact with contemporary art and stimulate critical reflection based on the works on display.

The visit was part of the Art discipline, more specifically the Introduction to Contemporary Art content, and allowed students to interact with works of different languages, techniques and media. In addition, the classes were able to discuss with cultural mediators the concepts and questions surrounding the artistic creations in the exhibition.
The immersion in the world of contemporary art contributed to expanding the students' aesthetic repertoire and inspired new proposals in the classroom. Based on the experience at the Biennial, projects were developed with the aim of deepening the process of artistic research and creation, making learning more dynamic and connected to the current art scene.

The 14th Mercosul Biennial has established itself as one of the largest art events in Latin America, bringing together artists from different countries and promoting dialogue between cultures, ideas and forms of expression, an ideal setting to awaken the critical and creative outlook of future professionals trained by IFSul.
