With a significant agenda of contemporary art and culture throughout the city, Pinta Asunción Art Week 2025, formerly known as Pinta Sud | ASU, will take place from Wednesday the 10th to Saturday the 13th. The event aims to delve into a constantly growing art scene of contemporary and popular expressions, while also connecting with Paraguay's cultural, culinary, and tourism traditions.
On opening day, Casa Ardissone (25 de Mayo 731 between Tacuary and Estados Unidos Streets) will open its doors to the public for the first time next Wednesday, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The venue will host the exhibition "El nombre del mundo es bosque" (The Name of the World is Forest) by Fernando Allen, and the group exhibition "Paraguay Contemporary Art," both curated by Adriana Almada. It will feature a special participation by Irene Gelfman (Argentina), Pinta's global curator.
ACTIVITIES
During the four days of the event, visitors will be able to enjoy exhibitions and tours of prominent galleries and museums throughout the city.
A two-day forum with international specialists in dialogue with local leaders is also planned; it will take place on Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th, at the CAF (Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean and the Integration House).
