In Orgosolo, a staircase through Gaza: colors, symbols, and a message calling for justice

In recent days, a new work of great social and moral value has appeared in Orgosolo. But this time, it's not one of the city's famous murals: what draws attention is a staircase entirely painted in the colors of the Palestinian flag, accompanied by a strong and clear inscription: "Free Palestine."

The message, however, isn't limited to the steps. On the wall next to the staircase, other inscriptions have also appeared with the same appeal—"Free Palestine"—accompanied by drawn hands stained red, a symbol of the innocent blood shed and the brutality suffered by the Palestinian people. A powerful image that awakens consciences and imposes the need to not remain indifferent.

It is a clear gesture with which the community of Orgosolo expresses its opposition to the massacre of civilians in Gaza and stands, once again, alongside the oppressed, calling for justice, peace, and respect for human rights.

This initiative should inspire other cities around the world. Every wall, every square, every staircase could be transformed into a visual cry of solidarity, a permanent reminder that art has the power to denounce, unite, and resist. May every symbolic gesture—a color, a line, a word—become part of a global movement for the freedom and dignity of the Palestinian people.
