Guillermo García-Cruz's 'Divergent Structure', a sculptural metaphor

Guillermo García-Cruz's artistic career has been dramatic in recent years. He has developed a high-profile artistic and pedagogical profile as a professor of Visual Arts at the IPA (University of Montevideo, Uruguay), and has also taught at the Washington Studio School and the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design (Washington, USA). His sculptural work has been widely recognized internationally through major solo exhibitions of his most recent work in prestigious contemporary art galleries and museums. This intense work in the field of abstract geometric sculpture has earned him inclusion in major private and public collections in Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
