Exhibition about Da Vinci opens technological complex in São Paulo

Public will have a journey with dozens of experiences about the genius

The city of São Paulo will gain, starting next Tuesday (6), the first permanent Immersive Arts Laboratory in Latin America and its first exhibition will be focused on the Italian genius Leonardo Da Vinci.

Located between the neighborhoods of Santa Cecília and Barra Funda, the Gymnasium has approximately 2,200 square meters and is equipped with a planetarium, observation decks, a recreational area, a Virtual Reality environment and Artificial Intelligence (AI) photo booths.

The inaugural exhibition in honor of Da Vinci promises a journey with dozens of different experiences through the history of the life and work of the Renaissance master.

Visitors will have the opportunity to take a multisensory journey through the numerous mapped projections about the Italian genius. The public will also be able to experience immersive sounds, see replicas of works up close and use virtual reality.

An immersive room built in the laboratory will feature a full-scale reconstruction of the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, where the famous work "The Last Supper" is housed.

The public will also be able to learn little-known details about the life of the Italian genius, such as his romantic relationships and food preferences. This space will be located in an area that can be accessed through a discreet passageway.
