The exhibitions "From Tàpies to Siqueiros" and "Sense of Life" open to the public

At the galleries of the "Raúl Gamboa" Cultural Center of the Potosino Institute of Fine Arts
Last Thursday, January 22, the exhibitions "From Tàpies to Siqueiros: The Shapiro Sisters' Donation" and "Sense of Life: An Artistic Retrospective of Silvia Puyou" opened at the galleries of the "Raúl Gamboa" Cultural Center of the Potosino Institute of Fine Arts (IPBA).

The opening brought together the public, artists, and cultural managers for a tour that allowed them to appreciate two highly relevant proposals for the local art scene. "From Tàpies to Siqueiros" presents a valuable selection of graphic works from the donation made by the Shapiro sisters, establishing a dialogue between key figures of international and Latin American modern art. On the other hand, "Vital Sense" offers a retrospective of Silvia Puyou's artistic career, highlighting the evolution of her visual language and her constant formal and conceptual exploration.

Both exhibitions solidify the IPBA's position as a fundamental space for the dissemination of art and the encounter with diverse aesthetic perspectives. The exhibitions remain open to the public, and the community is invited to visit the galleries of the "Raúl Gamboa" Cultural Center and explore these offerings that enrich the cultural landscape of San Luis Potosí.
