For the second time, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) is hosting a charity art auction as part of the Stars for Children 2025 Gala, with the goal of raising funds to improve the living conditions of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations in Panama.
The auction includes works by nearly twenty renowned Latin American artists, including Cristina Ordoñez, Eduardo Navarro, Cisco Merel, Sari Holland, Rolo De Sedas, Reinier Rodríguez, Bárbara Cartier, Jairo Romero, Diego Fábrega, Andrea Vernaza, Lala Valdés, Ángela García, Gabriel Sánchez, Ernesto Córdova, and Luis Carlos González.
Additionally, special pieces will be auctioned, such as a classical guitar autographed by international artist Luis Enrique, special guest of the gala, and a hat autographed by maestro Omar Alfanno, UNICEF ambassador.
The auction is being held virtually through the Panamanian website GeekyDrop (www.geekydrop.com/unicef) and will be open from May 27 to June 19, 2025. All works will be available for physical viewing during the gala, on June 5 in the Las Perlas Room of the Club Unión.
UNICEF emphasized that this initiative represents a unique opportunity for collectors and art lovers, who will be able to acquire valuable pieces while supporting a worthy cause. The funds raised will allow the company to continue promoting programs that promote fair opportunities for the full development of Panamanian children. Furthermore, all purchases are 100% tax-deductible.
