Juannio 2026: An exhibition featuring over 160 works by Guatemalan and international artists in Guatemala
Juannio 2026 in Guatemala: Latin American Art Exhibition and Auction
Juannio is a platform that for over 60 years has promoted the talent of Guatemalan and international artists, bringing together the creations of emerging talents and established artists in one place.
Through the Juannio 2026 competition, 46 works by young artists were selected from a pool of nearly 300 submissions.
Their work will be exhibited alongside creations by renowned figures in the visual arts, such as Efraín Recinos, Rodolfo Abularach, Max Saravia Gual, and many others.
This year, the exhibition will feature a total of 161 works by 129 artists from Guatemala, Colombia, the United States, the Netherlands, Japan, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Mexico, Spain, and Italy.

Event to Benefit Guatemalan Children
Through the sale of the exhibited works, Juannio 2026 will raise funds for the Neurological Institute of Guatemala.
This institution provides support to low-income individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, fostering the development of their skills and abilities to promote their inclusion and active participation in society. More than 1,500 children and young people have been impacted through its programs!

Guided Tour Schedule
The 62nd edition of Juannio will take place from May 28 to July 12, 2026, at the Miraflores Museum, located at 7th Street 21-55, Zone 11, Guatemala City.
Admission is free, and you can visit from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you'd like to learn more about the artworks and their creators, join the guided tours held every Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
Additionally, a Sunday Funday will be held on Sunday, June 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
